I suggest in the readme:
-download the .zip file and unpack locally (home directory?!)
install composer accordingly to the composer documentation inside the --directory created with the unzipped file
- run composer.phar install /using the composer.json included in the zip file
This is the way I did after several (and I mean so ;) ) tries.
Beside everything, thanks a lot so far so good it pointed out something from where I can start to revamp my code
